San Miguel Basin County Fair Scholarship
The San Miguel Basin Fair Board offers a $500.00 scholarship to graduating seniors of school districts R-1, RE-2 and R-2J. Applicants must have been or are presently a member of a 4-H club or school sponsored agricultural program and enrolled at an accredited two year or higher institute of learning.
Scholarship applications are evaluated on the following criteria:
- 30% Involvement and participation in 4-H or school sponsored agriculture program
- 30% Scholastic record, community involvement and extra-curricular activities
- 20% Goals and future plans
- 10% Need
- 10% Character based on two letters of reference
Applications are due by April 1, 2026
